1. What This Website Is

This private reference site operates independently of government. It neither stores official criminal records nor retrieves them, performs official checks, or submits documents for users.

Its purpose is to identify the custodians of Morgan County records, including Morgan County Sheriff, Morgan Combined Court, the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, and the Colorado Sex Offender Registry, and to link to tools that may aid lawful research.

2. Rules for Using This Site

As a condition of use, you must not:

• Break any federal, state, or local law while using this site
• Use information you find here to stalk, harass, or threaten anyone
• Base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on content from this site
• Try to break into our systems or gain access you are not supposed to have
• Run bots, scrapers, or automated tools against our pages
• Do anything that slows the site down or blocks other people from using it

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

You may not use information from this site or a linked tool to stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or discriminate against anyone. Such conduct may also be criminal. Colorado specifically limits misuse of Colorado Sex Offender Registry data under C.R.S. § 16-22-110. Registry information supports community safety awareness and cannot lawfully justify vigilante conduct or discriminatory screening.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and create no credit report, consumer report, or official background check. Our advertising partners and this site do not offer tools designed for regulated screening. You agree not to use information from either this site or a linked tool to:

• Decide whether to hire or fire someone
• Screen potential renters or housing applicants
• Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
• Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
• Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

A check needed for a regulated purpose must come from an appropriate FCRA-compliant provider. The Colorado Bureau of Investigation offers official state criminal-history products, but the requesting purpose determines which lawful process applies.

5. No Legal Advice

Site content is not legal advice. General information about Morgan County records cannot determine how a charge, conviction, warrant, adult sealing rule, or juvenile expungement rule affects an individual matter. Consult a Colorado-licensed attorney for legal advice.

6. No Warranties

All content and services are supplied "as is." We make no promise that:

Colorado law governs these terms. Any dispute tied to use of the site must be brought in a court located in Colorado. Public criminal-justice record access itself is governed by the Colorado Criminal Justice Records Act, C.R.S. §§ 24-72-301 through 24-72-309.

13. Cutting Off Access

We may restrict or end access to the site at any time, for any reason, and without advance notice.

14. Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, all other provisions remain effective. The affected provision will be modified only as far as needed to make it enforceable.
